Well this is a long overdue post, but Deadmau5 dropped his new album, 4 x 4 = 12, on December 7th. A few comments:
My favorites are the tracks that I’ve been listening to for a while now and already mentioned here, as they were already released as singles:

I’m a bit disappointed in Raise Your Weapon and Sofi Needs a Ladder

Lastly, why is Everything Before is on this album? It already made an appearance on the compilation album It Sounds Like, one of my most favorite albums.
I had the opportunity to see an early screening of Tron early this week and obviously I jumped on it. Of course a great allure of the movie, besides being a contemporary remake/sequel of an 80s classic, is the sound track by the Fathers of Electronic, Daft Punk.
Honestly, I didn’t get a very “DP” impression from the get go, but during one scene that includes a cameo appearance, it hits:

I thought the film was great – entertaining and fun. The sound is incredible on the theater sound system. I wish I watched the original before I went, but it was so spur of the moment I didn’t get a chance. If you can, I would suggest you do. Enjoy!
Listening to Pandora on my Whitest Boy Alive station and came across this. Reminds me of Jamiroquai with some jazzy background. Could be an awesome band. We’ll have to do some more research.
Well folks, I know so many people read this blog so I figured I would post one of my best finds in the past few months. On this the eve of the eve of Thanksgiving, I am giving thanks for these remixes. They are some of the best Fleetwood remixes I have every heard. I love the screaming guitar riffs and smooth voice mixed with the hard synth tones. So delicious. Get ‘em while its hot!

As i sit enjoying my new LCD Vinyl of “This Is Happening”, i post about an awesome band that I heard about this weekend. These guys are kinda like Ratatat in their styling and composition. They are named “Goldfish”. My friend Jen introduced me to them this weekend. I believe they have appeared in some car commercials. They have some funky hidden gems in some of the songs which are amazing. Please enjoy.

I haven’t dived much into Lindstrom outside of his remix of LCD Soundsystem’s Tribulations:

But with his upcoming show at the Mezzanine in SF, I decided to check him out with a little more depth. I’m glad I did. Can’t wait to see what he’s going to drop at the show.

As I head to the Cow Palace here in the Bay Area for the annual Spookfest, I’m most excited for Wolfgang Gartner, an artist I discovered at EDC. I leave you with a few of my favorite tracks. Party atmosphere recommended. Glow sticks required.
